Pastoral Imagination Event Recap

Because you have been wondering… what is pastoral imagination? Why does it matter for ministers and other religious leaders? On November 18, 2021 a group of scholar-practioners gathered at Union Theological Seminary (on zoom of course). And together, we talked about pastoral imagination.

Now the video is available. And you can watch the Pastoral Imagination Union @ Home Event recap! During the event, panelists addressed key questions about the concept and the related research. They explored implications of the pastoral imagination for their own teaching and leadership.

We recorded the conversation because we want to share the lively interactions. We also received great questions from event attendees. See how LPI co-directors, Eileen Campbell-Reed and Christian Scharen, as well as Tim Adkins-Jones, Su Yon Pak, and moderator Pamela Cooper-White, engage the concept in all its complexity.
